Our client are looking for a facilities co-ordinator to act as the main point of contact for the facilities helpdesk across 2 of their offices in lLondon and Edinburgh. You will conduct Daily/Weekly Building H&S checks, H&S will form a large part of your role as well as supervising all contractors (Hard & Soft Services), liaising with Building Maintenance Company for all aspects of maintenance and ensuring prompt attention to any problems Ensure building (London) is always operationally ready (eyes and ears of FM team) and ensure a safe, compliant environment for staff & clients by ensuring processes are followed and where there are gaps in the processes escalate for resolution. Help to set up AV equipment for meetings/events – troubleshooting where necessary and assist with internal ‘event’ set up in meeting rooms and on occasions support evening events. You will assist managing onsite lockers & keyholding and upkeep of Building inventory, ensuring all items up to date. Assist with any Office Refurbishments (as required) and provide back-up to FM team (Reception / Security duties) in times of holiday and absence.
You will be experienced in facilities co-ordination and :
* WFM or Facilities Certification / Membership (desirable)
* IOSH Certification (desirable, training can be provided)
* Fire Marshal / First Aid Training (desirable, training can be provided)
* Intermediate skills in Office 365 (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Good technical knowledge of AV systems / New Technologies
The role will be onsite in London with potentially some travel to Edinburgh and will be inside IR35
