Job Title: Facilities Assistant - Immediate start!
Location: Canterbury
Contract Type: Temporary contract until the 12th June, with the potential of extension
Salary: £13.39 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-3:45pm
Benefits: Weekly pay, up to 28 days annual leave, free on-site parking, access to benefits platform
Key Responsibilities:
Looking after the external areas (emptying bins, sweep the car park, full litter pick).
Assisting with receiving and processing deliveries.
Assist with minor maintenance jobs (replace door handles, paint walls, floors, doors, etc).
Contractor Control - meet contractors, carry out site inductions, monitor performance, gain updates on what was completed and report to management.
Assist students/staff with access.
Assist with PPMs and compliance checks (fire alarm tests, fire drills, roof checks, etc).
H & S walkarounds, report obstruction and safety concerns.
Disposal of various materials/waste from studios.
Assist with setting up rooms for lectures and events.What We're Looking For:
Must have previous experience in Caretaking, Facilities, Maintenance or similar roles.
Ideally have previous knowledge of H&S.
