Description:
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Fabricator/Platers for one of our clients based in Chesterfield, S46.
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, measure and mark out materials, and prepare steel and platework for fabrication.
* Cut, drill, grind, bend, fit and assemble components using appropriate workshop tools and equipment.
* Fabricate and weld structural steelwork and platework to required specifications, dimensions and tolerances.
* Use lifting equipment and workshop machinery safely and correctly.
* Inspect finished work, carry out finishing and grinding, and ensure work meets quality standards.
* Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and follow all company health and safety procedures.
* Work effectively as part of a team, meet production deadlines and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Monday - Friday
Shifts available: 6am - 4.30pm (12.45pm finish on Fridays)
Pay rate : £16.50/ H
