The Job

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to work in a permanent job working on some really interesting, varied fabrication and welding jobs.

What you'll be doing:

 To follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings relating to the welding and fabrication of component parts and large assemblies. This will include but not limited to, use of Mig/Tig, plasma profiler, guillotine and press brake.
To ensure the scope and timing of assigned tasks are understood, completed as per requirements and in accordance with relevant working procedures.
Maintain all tools and equipment in a clean and usable state; return tools and equipment to appropriate storage area(s) when not being used. Report defects or damage to the fabrication manager.
To work in accordance with current quality procedures and advise any errors or variances to the fabrication manager.Preferred Skills:

MAG process butt weld in flat, horizontal and vertical position
Anyone applying would be expected to pass welder qualification tests in these types of joints before they are allowed to weld on this project.Associated Benefits:
