Position: Fabricator / Welder
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
Location: West Midlands
Looking for a fabrication role where you’re building bespoke engineering equipment rather than doing repetitive production work?
An established and growing automation business is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to manufacture and modify components for special purpose machinery and automated feeding systems.
The Role
* Fabrication & welding of bespoke components and assemblies
* TIG welding and general fabrication
* Working from engineering drawings
* Cutting, forming, modifying and finishing components
* Supporting the build of automation and special purpose machinery
* Using general workshop machinery, tooling and fabrication equipment
What We’re Looking For
* Strong fabrication and welding experience
* TIG welding experience highly desirable
* Confident reading engineering drawings
* Good hands-on workshop skills
* Automation / machine build / special purpose machinery experience advantageous
