Hours: 40 hours per week + Regular Overtime Available + Lodge Allowance
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with consistent overtime and excellent rates of pay.
Pay & Overtime
Basic Rate: £25.00 per hour
40-hour standard working week
Overtime paid at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x your hourly rate, depending on hours worked.
The Role
* Working within a busy fabrication workshop, your duties will include:
* MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
* Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
* Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling fabricated steelwork.
* Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
* Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
* Working both independently and as part of an experienced fabrication team.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Competent using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
* Own air-fed welding mask is essential.
* Own safety boots and standard PPE.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work to production deadlines
