Description:
We are supporting a large, growing fabrication company that is based in Stone, ST15 area that are looking to expand its workforce.
The role is working on a night shift, Sunday to Thursdat 10pm-6am, this is offered on a temp to perm basis, Full training can be given to the "right" candidate.
Duties will include:
* Operate semi-automatic weld machine that bonds metal components on to steel pipework.
* Read fabrication drawings and specifications and understand the product that needs to be manufactured.
* Input operating instructions into the weld machine and adjust settings to ensure they are relevant to the required welding process.
* Observes and listen to welding machine and its controls to ensure welding process meets specifications.
* Check the quality of each weld before passing to the next stage of fabrication.
* Use in house barcoding system & completing daily production paperwork.
* Clean and maintain workpieces and welding machine parts to ensure daily housekeeping is kept to a standard
