Client Summary:
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the production of large, bespoke fabricated products for a variety of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their skilled workshop team.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of large specialist fabricated products using both mild steel and stainless steel. You will be able to interpret and work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision, producing high-quality work to specification while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

Key Duties:
* Fabrication and welding of large bespoke products using mild steel and stainless steel.
* MIG welding to a high standard, with TIG welding experience being advantageous.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
* Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication.
* Assemble fabricated components in line with engineering specifications.
* Operate workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer requirements.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve production targets.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Person Profile/Experience:
* Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong MIG welding experience with mild steel and stainless steel.
* Ability to fabricate from engineering drawings without supervision.
* Experience working on large fabricated products or heavy engineering projects.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the wider team.

Qualifications:
* Time-served apprenticeship or recognised fabrication/welding qualification (preferred but not essential).
* MIG welding qualification or coded welding experience is advantageous.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Forklift or overhead crane experience is beneficial but not essential.
