Fabricator
Job Role
Our client based in Peterborough are currently looking for semi-skilled fabricators/sheet-metal workers to join their technical team. If you have a passion for working with metal and possess the necessary skills, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities
Proficient with measuring, marking out and the use of various hand tools/mechanical equipment for sheet metalwork.
Bend, shape and cut out sections to finish sheet metal products.
Strong mechanical background with practical, hands-on skills and the ability to learn
CNC Punch press/Manual brake press/Guillotine, Pillar drills etc. experience preferred
Personal Specification
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
Must have proven previous working experience as a Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator
Excellent timekeeping, attendance, reliability and commitment
Work in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and other relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Hours of Work and Pay
Up to £16/Hour DOE
40hr Week (Days)
Overtime available
