Job Title: Fabrication & Welding

Location: Fife, Scotland

Role Type: Full time / Permanent and Contract available

FINTEC recruit is looking for experienced Fabricators to take part in long term ongoing contracting or for permanent work for an engineering project. If you possess technical skills and a safety-first attitude, this opportunity is for you. Your work will encompass various fabrication activities including structural steel fabrication, high-tolerance work, marking off, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural steel fabrication.

Working with high tolerances.

Lining out and marking off.

Interpretation of drawings and specifications for fabrication work.

Daily routine maintenance checks.

Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.

Essential Experience:

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret work instructions.

Proficient in the use of hand-held and semi-automatic burning equipment, and workshop machinery specific to fabricating.

Experience in the marine industry or similar desirable

Indentured Apprenticeship.

Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a sheet metal, structural steel, or fabrication-related discipline.

Level 3 Engineering qualification relevant to the role.
