CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a leading FM service provider on a prestigious static site in Knightsbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled fabric technician with a strong background in carpentry or painting & decorating to take their career to the next level.

???? Please note: Applicants must hold a minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or Painting & Decorating to be considered for this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance, including repairs to tiles, walls, locks, door furniture, architraves, plinths, floors, ceilings, and both internal and external painting/decorating.

Skilled use of hand and power tools for carpentry works (e.g. hanging doors, installing/repairing architrave).

Ensure work areas are safe and the building fabric is protected during works.

Perform special cleaning and fabric plant checks as directed.

Maintain accurate fabric maintenance records and site logbooks.

Manage stock, deliveries, and storage of materials safely.

Liaise with clients to minimise disruption and ensure high standards of service.

Complete all reactive tasks to meet agreed service levels.

Requirements ✅ City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or Painting & Decorating (essential)
✅ Strong experience in commercial fabric/building maintenance
✅ Good knowledge of H&S and safe working practices
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Up to £42,000 per annum
