Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join their team.
The main purpose of this Fabric Engineer role is building-fabric repairs and maintenance across commercial premises, reactive and planned, keeping buildings safe, compliant, and presentable.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £18.40ph depending on experience plus enhanced overtime.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 45 hour working week plus overtime when required.
Reporting to the hiring manager your responsibilities will include:
Minor Carpentry/joinery skills — doors, frames, ironmongery, locks, closers, skirting, fixtures
Flooring (vinyl/safety flooring, matting) – Not essential.
Tiling, plastering, and patch repairs
Painting, decorating, and making good
Minor roofing/weatherproofing, guttering, sealant/mastic, brickwork pointing
General Building Knowledge - Making good
Basic non-trade plumbing (taps, traps, leaks) and general fixings
Survey fabric defects and capture information for quotations
Reactive call-outs, planned works, project works and survey/quote information
The ideal candidate:
time-served or proven multi-trade fabric/carpentry background
commercial/occupied-building experience;
CSCS card.
manual UK driving licence
willingness for occasional national travel and stay aways
positive attitude
