About the Role & School
We are working with a high-achieving primary school in the London Borough of Newham that is seeking a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their reception team. This is a full-time, term-time position, offering the opportunity to support young learners during the most important stages of their early education.

Main Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities within the reception classroom.
Assist pupils with their learning through play-based and structured activities.
Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Support children's social, emotional and personal development.
Work with individuals and small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
Observe pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence throughout the school day.About You
Previous experience working with children within an EYFS or primary school setting is desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Patient, caring and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting the classroom.
