EYFS Teaching Assistant - Bury
Are you passionate about helping young children learn and develop? Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants for Early Years settings across Bury.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and support children as they develop their communication, social skills, confidence and early academic understanding.
You could be supporting children through structured activities, play-based learning, phonics, early mathematics and everyday classroom routines.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and able to create positive relationships with young children while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting children during play and structured learning
Helping develop communication and language
Supporting early phonics and literacy
Encouraging early mathematical development
Helping children develop independence
Assisting with classroom routines
Supporting children who require additional help
Working closely with the class teacherPrevious Early Years experience is desirable, although candidates with nursery, childcare or relevant youth work experience may also be suitable.
You should be patient, energetic and comfortable working in a busy classroom where children are learning through a combination of structured activities and exploration.
