Job Opportunity: EYFS Teaching Assistant based in a Primary School, Uckfield, East Sussex
Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners? If so, Supply Desk invites you to join our client’s dynamic team as a Teaching Assistant in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department.
About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our youngest students, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages their development and love for learning. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging activities, support individual learning needs, and ensure the well-being of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of high-quality educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support children with personal care needs, if required.
- Encourage positive social interactions and development of social skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent is preferred. But not essential
- Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
