If so, then this position working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in a whole child-focused Primary school in Barnet is perfect for you! Within this role, you will be helping children between 3 years to 5 years old in their day-to-day learning, setting them up for their future academic journey.

Within this role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teacher, you will be assisting the lead teacher in delivering lessons to the pupils based on the school's diverse and engaging curriculum. At times you will be required to take some pupils into 1:1 or group intervention sessions to allow time for additional learning support (Maths, English and Phonics), ensuring that all pupils gain the best learning experience possible.

This role gives those looking to become a qualified teacher the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience alongside the pupils, knowledgeable teachers and SLT. Giving you the initial building blocks to then go onto Teacher Training or a PGCE.

EYFS Teaching Assistant
Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons effectively
Working alongside pupils across EYFS classes
Lead 1:1 and group intervention sessions with pupils struggling academically
May involve working with SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
ASAP Start - Full-time - Full academic year
£105 - £110 per day - Term time only
