EYFS Teaching Assistant - Nursery & Reception
Primary School | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Aspire People

Aspire People are recruiting experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants to support children within Nursery and Reception settings.

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic practitioners who understand early childhood development and can support young children through play-based learning.

The Role:

* Supporting children within Nursery and Reception
* Assisting with play-based learning activities
* Supporting communication, language and early literacy
* Helping develop early phonics and numeracy skills
* Supporting children's social and emotional development
* Encouraging independence and positive behaviour
* Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
* Supporting observations and assessment of children's development
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
* Supporting children with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous UK school or EYFS experience
* Experience working with Nursery or Reception-aged children
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication skills
* Confident supporting children's learning through play
* Understanding of safeguarding
* Reliable and professional

Relevant experience may include:

* EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Nursery Teaching Assistant
* Early Years Practitioner
* Nursery Practitioner
* Early Years Educator
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified candidates
