Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with young children and possesses significant experience in supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. The position is full-time, from Monday to Friday, lasting for the remainder of the academic year with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of daily activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
Provide tailored support to SEN students, ensuring their learning and development needs are met.
Collaborate with EYFS teachers to plan and execute lessons and activities that engage all learners.
Monitor and record students' progress, and contribute to their assessment reports.
Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external SEN professionals.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, specifically within EYFS and with SEN students.
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare or related field.
Understanding of EYFS educational practices and SEN strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and child development.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo this procedure
