Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence
The school is looking to take on a permanent Teacher on a full-time basis. The successful Teacher will be working directly with a student on a 1:1 basis at reception level, aged between 5-9. Supporting Complex Trauma needs and Autism.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD, Trauma
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
