Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and highly capable EYFS Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a welcoming and well-established primary school in Newham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Early Years practitioner who can quickly establish strong routines, create an engaging learning environment, and deliver high-quality teaching that promotes excellent outcomes for pupils.
The school is looking for a teacher with a proven track record in EYFS who can hit the ground running and provide consistency, stability and outstanding teaching throughout the maternity cover period.

The Role

Full-time EYFS Teacher position.
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
Create a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
Work closely with support staff, parents and senior leadership.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.

Essential Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Significant experience teaching within EYFS
✅ Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development
✅ Proven ability to raise attainment and support pupil progress
✅ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ Strong assessment and planning experience
This role requires a confident and experienced EYFS teacher. It is not suitable for ECTs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
