We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Ferryhill from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher who understands the importance of early childhood education and is committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for our youngest pupils.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

As our EYFS Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Support children's social, emotional and academic development.
Monitor, assess and record pupil progress effectively.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a nurturing approach.
Is passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential.
Has strong communication and organisational skills.
Works effectively as part of a team.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
