Contract Type: Full-time, long-term temporary

Location: Ealing, London, UK
Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum

Salary will reflect experience and position on the relevant Outer London Main Pay Range.

A vibrant Ealing primary school is looking for a knowledgeable and energetic EYFS Teacher to lead a class from September.

As the class EYFS Teacher, you will combine purposeful play with carefully planned adult-led teaching. The school wants children to become confident communicators, curious learners and considerate members of the class community.

You will join a collaborative early-years team that values high-quality provision, careful observation and close partnerships with families.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Delivering the EYFS framework through engaging provision

Planning meaningful indoor and outdoor learning

Teaching early phonics, number and communication skills

Monitoring children’s progress and identifying next steps

Supporting successful transition into school

Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour

Working with additional adults to maximise pupil support

Maintaining productive partnerships with parents and carers

Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status

Successful experience teaching or training in EYFS

Strong understanding of child development

Knowledge of early phonics and early mathematics

Effective planning, assessment and classroom organisation

Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

Availability from September for a long-term placement

Desirable

Experience supporting children with SEN or speech and language needs

Confidence using outdoor provision as part of the curriculum
