We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Banbury that is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood development and supporting children as they take their first steps in education.
The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.
Role Highlights:
Take responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the Early Years Framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development through high-quality interactions
Use ongoing assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning
Develop early communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support strong early outcomes
Contribute to the wider EYFS provision and school community, including events and enrichment activities
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within EYFS in a UK primary school setting
Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and child development
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
Ability to create engaging, play-based learning opportunities
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting individual needs
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
