Location: Lewisham, London, England (on-site)
Salary: £41,729–£64,684 per year (annual salary equivalent), depending on qualifications and experience. Actual pay basis and assignment terms confirmed before placement.
Start date: 04 January 2027
Contract: Full-time, temporary, long-term.
Hours: Monday to Friday during term time, Exact hours agreed before placement.
About the role
Transparency Education is recruiting an EYFS Teacher for a January opportunity in Lewisham. You will lead early learning through a balance of play, practical experiences and focused teaching, with a clear view of each child’s development.
We would like to hear from teachers who make good use of conversation and observation to extend learning. You will adapt provision for different needs, develop early reading and number skills, and work with support staff and families to encourage independence and participation.
Key responsibilities
Plan purposeful provision and well-pitched adult-led sessions.
Develop communication, phonics and early mathematical understanding.
Use assessment to adjust support and introduce appropriate challenge.
Maintain inclusive routines and share developmental next steps with families.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the stated pay, applicants must have:
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching the EYFS and assessing early development.
Strong classroom organisation and an inclusive approach to family relationships.
Appropriate qualifications and training for the responsibilities of the post.
Higher rates reflect substantial relevant teaching experience and qualifications. Pay follows school expectations and AWR, where applicable.
