Job Duties:
The EYFS Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a comprehensive early years education curriculum. This includes creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of young learners.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience working with early years children - Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an early years setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development principles - Proficiency in creating stimulating learning activities - Effective classroom management techniques - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education - Specialised training in areas such as special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding
Working Conditions:
The EYFS Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Part-time hours will be agreed upon with the school, and the teacher may be required to participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
