Role: Teaching Assistant (EYFS and KS1)

Start: September 2024

Are you someone who dedicates themselves to enable individuals to achieve their full potential?

We are working closely with a Primary school in Durham who are wanting to welcome an experienced TA into their community. This school endeavours to promote a space where individuals feel that they are all valued and belong.

This role initially is for one term, however depending on funding the school is looking to take the right candidate to extend and keep permanently.

Role Requirements:

An individual who is confident, enthusiastic, and creative dedicated to teaching and personal development of pupils
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one (we can assist with this if necessary)
Experience with Primary KS1 and Early Years students
Excellent behaviour management skills
The school holds clear vision regarding children, families and the school itself.  Striving for excellent communication to enable transparent flow and function throughout the departments is very important. Current values that the school present has resulted in all staff members staying long-term with the school as it is enjoyable environment to work in.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
