EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working in partnership with a Primary Mainstream school who need an exceptional EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism, working both on a 1:1 and group basis. You will be a proactive and forward thinking individual who is confident in supporting with sensory play and circuits, as well as communication through PECs, Now and Next boards and using this communication technique in learning and development.

Start date: 2nd September 2024

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you're more than an educator – you're a guiding light, illuminating the path for children with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex care requirements. Under the mentorship of a dedicated class teacher, you'll lead the way both in group settings and through personalized 1-1 interactions. Your unwavering presence and unwavering dedication will be instrumental in nurturing growth and fostering a thriving learning environment.

MUST have recent experience working within a school!

Role and Responsibilities:

* Supporting with Learning and Developing
* Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students
* Experienced and Confident in Autism and PECs

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that is:

* Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
* Able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
* Reliable and flexible to suit the expectations of our schools
* Previous experience working within a educational setting
* Creative, Pro-active and Enthusiastic Individual
* Able to work under own initiative
* Education related qualification preferred but not essential
