Looking to take ownership of the external package on a major residential development?
A well-established Design & Build contractor is looking to recruit an External Site Manager to join the team on a flagship residential project in Croydon. With a turnover in excess of £120 million, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential, mixed-use and commercial developments across London, with a strong focus on quality, safety and programme delivery.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for managing the external works package, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. You'll coordinate subcontractors, oversee brickwork, façade, roofing, landscaping and associated external works, manage quality inspections, and work closely with the wider site team to ensure a smooth delivery through to completion.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an External Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor with a main contractor.
* Strong knowledge of external packages including façades, brickwork, roofing, hard and soft landscaping.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
* A proactive approach with a strong focus on quality, health & safety and programme.
