Export Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager to join a leading global manufacturer in the fire protection industry.

Export Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager to grow a leading international fire protection systems manufacturer. This role is fully remote, based in the UK (commutable to the office in Essex), and is responsible for developing business across Europe and Africa, selling a range of sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, deluge systems, detection/integrated solutions, and fire trucks. You will manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and drive high-value sales growth. Travel to client sites, trade shows, and partner locations will be required to build relationships and close strategic contracts.

The Export Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager will ideally have expertise in fire protection systems, firefighting vehicles, or related building services. Full product and technical training will be provided.

Package:
• Salary £50–£55k, depending on experience
• Commission/bonus structure with OTE potential exceeding £100k

Export Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager Responsibilities:
• Lead export sales strategy for a full range of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, deluge systems, detection/integrated solutions, and fire trucks.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with distributors, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and end users across Europe and Africa.
• Manage key accounts, build long-term relationships, and maintain a pipeline of high-value projects.
• Provide technical-commercial guidance to clients and internal teams to ensure compliant, competitive solutions.
• Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and technical workshops.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, logistics, and after-sales teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable sales strategies.

Export Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / International Sales Manager Requirements:
• Proven export sales experience in fire protection systems such as sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, deluge systems, detection/integrated solutions, and fire trucks, firefighting vehicles, or related technical industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire protection products and systems, with the ability to translate technical detail into commercial value.
• Experience managing distributor networks, contractor relationships, and complex international sales cycles.
• Fluent in English; additional European or African language skills are advantageous.
• Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable with international travel.
• Based in the UK or Europe with the ability to attend weekly or ad-hoc office visits in Essex as required
