Description:
Role description – depending on experience
* Export operations and administration for Export Groupage/Part Loads from UK & Ireland
* Plan Irish Export Groupage/Part Loads transiting from Ireland via UK to Scandinavia
* Liaise with transport planners, warehouse and shipping lines
* All aspects of Groupage/Part Load export operations including on call rota
* Completing Export Customs Clearances – using Descartes/Destin8
* Completing Export Transit Documentation – using Descartes
Person specification:
* Previous experience in logistics/groupage planning is preferred
* A confident and approachable person
* A high level of organisation and attention to detail
* Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
* Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
* A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
* IT literate
* A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
