We're recruiting for an Export Coordinator to join a well-established international logistics business in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers around the world.

Working as part of a supportive operations team, you'll play a key role in coordinating export shipments from initial enquiry through to final delivery, ensuring cargo moves efficiently, compliantly, and on time.

The Role

As Export Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing multiple shipments and customer requirements while building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and overseas partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating air, sea, and road export shipments
Preparing and processing export documentation and customs declarations
Liaising with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal departments
Providing accurate and competitive freight quotations
Monitoring shipments and resolving operational issues proactively
Ensuring all exports comply with customs regulations and international trade requirements
Supporting customer onboarding and maintaining strong client relationships
Working towards team service and performance targets
What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Previous experience within freight forwarding, exports, shipping, or logistics
Strong knowledge of export procedures and customs requirements
Experience handling dangerous goods (preferred)
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
A proactive and customer-focused approach
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
