On offer is the opportunity to be the Export Control Specialist and ensure that the company's operations related to inspection of equipment used in nuclear power stations, across multiple countries, comply with all relevant export control regulations.
The role is responsible for managing and obtaining the necessary export licenses and authorizations, as well as assessing documents and applying export control codes to ensure document distribution is in compliance with export laws and regulations in; UK, USA, EC and other countries such as Japan.
You will work closely with the technical and administrative teams to support document coding, coordination, and distribution of documentation subject to export control restrictions, and ensure compliance with export control requirements outlined within the company's Quality Management System.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all relevant export control regulations across multiple countries.
Identify and assess the need for export licences and authorisations for the company's operations related to inspection of equipment used in nuclear power stations.
Apply for and obtain necessary export licences and authorisations for the company's operations in various countries.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to export licences and compliance with export control regulations
Ensure that all documents subject to export control restrictions are properly coded and distributed in compliance with export laws and regulations
Monitor and implement export control requirements outlined within the company's Quality Management System.
Maintain awareness of changes in export control regulations and requirements in the relevant countries and ensure that the company's operations remain in compliance with all applicable regulations.The person:
Experience with Export control legislation definition 'Technology' - Ideally within the Civil Nuclear specification
