Export Assistant (8-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Role) - Growing FMCG Brand

Join an exciting and rapidly growing FMCG brand based in London. Known for their innovative products and dynamic approach to the market. As they expand their footprint internationally, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Export Assistant to help set up and manage the export operations. This is a new and pivotal position within our clients team, offering a unique opportunity to shape and develop our export department.

Role Overview:

The Export Assistant will play a key role in establishing and maintaining our export processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient export of our products to international markets. This initial 8-month contract is a crucial period to set up this area with the vision for the role to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in setting up and managing the export operations.

* Coordinate with various departments (sales, logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure a seamless export process.

* Prepare and manage all necessary export documentation and compliance requirements.

* Communicate with international clients and distributors to facilitate smooth order processing and delivery.

* Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that arise.

* Conduct market research to identify potential export markets and opportunities.

* Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on export activities and performance.

* Assist in developing and implementing export strategies and plans.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an export role, preferably within the FMCG sector.

* Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation, and compliance.

* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with international clients and distributors.

* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
