A welcoming primary school in Billericay is looking to appoint a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, one-year contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Working closely with class teachers, you'll provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and assist pupils on a one-to-one basis where required. Every day will bring the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.
The Role
As an Experienced Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and progress.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
Provide additional support for pupils with SEN where required.The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least two years' experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
Is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Is proactive, reliable and passionate about education.What's on Offer
