We are working with a range of exceptional SEN schools in the Chester region and are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants with a strong background in education and working with vulnerable children and young adults. Whether you are looking for a long-term position or daily supply to fit around other commitments, we have a variety of opportunities available.
The Role:
As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting children in their learning and development, helping to improve their confidence and enabling them to reach their potential. Your responsiblities may include:
Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils.
Supporting children and young adults with a range of additional needs.
Working alongside teachers and support staff to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
Helping students develop their social, emotional and academics skills.
Supporting students with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
Assisting with personal care where required.
Building positive and trusting relationships.
What We Are Looking For:
An Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has:
TA status and experience in SEN settings.
Based in the Chester area or have access to transport links.
Strong behaviour management skills.
A patient and understanding approach.
