Are you an experienced Plate Maker with a background in Repro, Pre Press or Lithographic printing looking for your next opportunity?

We are recruiting on behalf of an established printing business based in Nottingham and are looking for a skilled Plate Maker to join their Pre-Press team. This is a specialist role within a busy production environment, supporting the preparation of high-quality printing plates for lithographic production.

Previous Repro/Plate Maker industry experience is essential for this position. You'll need a good understanding of lithographic printing and Pre Press processes, along with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work to tight production deadlines.

As the new Experienced Plate Maker, you will:

Produce and prepare high-quality printing plates for lithographic production
Operate plate-making equipment and associated machinery
Work accurately to job specifications and production requirements
Check plates carefully to ensure they meet quality standards
Ensure plates are prepared correctly and on time to support production schedules
Work closely with the wider Pre Press and production teams
Handle materials and finished plates safely and correctly
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working area
Follow company health & safety and quality procedures
Support the wider Pre Press operation to ensure production runs smoothly Main Requirements for This Role

Previous industry experience as a Plate Maker / Repro Plate Maker is essential
Experience within a Lithographic printing and/or Pre Press environment is essential
Good knowledge and understanding of lithographic printing processes
Experience operating plate-making equipment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work to technical specifications and production deadlines
Strong understanding of quality requirements within a print environment
Reliable, hardworking and committed approach
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
Good awareness of health & safety within a manufacturing environment What you can expect in return:

Full-time, permanent
Shift: Double days / rotating shifts

Morning shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday morning: 6:00am - 1:30pm
Afternoon shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday afternoon: 1:30pm - 9:00pm Company pension
