Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time, term-to-perm basis.

As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

* Carrying out both mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery and equipment

* Managing and completing the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule

* Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive maintenance

* Organising and managing external contractors on site

* Ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility

* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures

An ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer will have:

* Previous mechanical and electrical maintenance experience

* Experience managing a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule

* Experience organising and managing contractors

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

* A proactive and organised approach to maintenance activities
