The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in nursing and residential homes, helping them to maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your duties may include:

* Providing personal care and support

* Assisting with washing, dressing and toileting

* Supporting residents with eating and drinking

* Assisting with moving and handling, following care plans

* Promoting independence and encouraging participation in daily activities

* Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' wellbeing

* Maintaining accurate records where required

* Working closely with nurses and care home staff

* Ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion at all times

What We're Looking For

* A minimum of 6 months' paid experience as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK

* A caring, compassionate and professional attitude

* Excellent communication skills

* Reliability and punctuality

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

* The right to work in the UK

* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)
