Experienced Groundworker – Reading – £23.50ph – 3 Weeks Work

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker for a construction project in Reading, Berkshire.

Location: Reading, Berkshire
Rate: £23.50 per hour
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks – project is nearing completion
Hours Paid per Day: 8 hours
Job Type: Temporary
Start: ASAP

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join an existing construction project in Reading for the final 3 weeks of the job.

This role would suit someone with strong all-round groundworks experience who is confident working independently and can get stuck in with the remaining works required to bring the project through to completion.

Key Duties

Duties may include:

* General groundworks

* Drainage works

* Kerbing and edging

* Slabbing and paving

* Concreting

* Finishing works

* Making good and snagging

* Assisting with final external works

* Maintaining a clean and safe working area

* Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures

* Working alongside other trades and site management

Requirements

Applicants must have:

* Valid CSCS card

* Strong previous groundworks experience

* Confident carrying out a range of groundworks duties

* Full PPE

* Own tools where required

* Reliable transport to Reading

* Recent relevant references

* Good reliability and timekeeping

* Ability to commit to the remaining 3 weeks of the project
