We are a well-established, dynamic and fast growing e-commerce business and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic bookkeeper to join our team within our Fareham office.
The hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday, 09:00 to 17:00 Tuesday to Thursday and 09:00 to 16:00 on Friday (Full time essential).
The role:
If you have experience of Sage 50 Accounts Professional software and can do all aspects of general bookkeeping, VAT return preparation, along with IOSS reporting and postponed VAT, then this could be an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a career move and wants to expand their bookkeeping abilities.
Duties:
* Accurate data entry and understanding VAT across different countries (IOSS) for reporting to EU countries.
* Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards, including Shopify, Paypal, eBay, and Amazon seller accounts.
* Full Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Trial Balance analysis at year end.
* The balancing of all loan accounts.
* In-depth general bookkeeping knowledge.
* Excellent proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts Professional software (essential).
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including Excel.
* Knowledge of IOSS reporting (preferred but not essential as training can be given).
* Postponed VAT (preferred but not essential as training can be given).
* Knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and control accounts (preferred).
This role is perfect for someone who can manage their time well and prioritise daily. It is a challenging role, but it is also very rewarding.
Experience:
Sage 50 Accounts Professional: 3 years (essential).
Bookkeeping: 3 years minimum (essential).

Salary: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
