Salary: £56,000 - £66,000
Contract: Full Time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational Executive Headteacher to provide strategic leadership across a group of specialist SEN schools.

This role offers the opportunity to lead through a team of established school leaders, driving consistency, quality and operational excellence across multiple sites whilst ensuring outstanding outcomes for children and young people with additional needs.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for education across the group, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, safeguarding and operational performance.

Working closely with Heads of School and Senior Heads of School, you will lead school improvement activity, support inspection readiness and ensure a consistent, high-quality learner experience across all settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic leadership across multiple specialist education settings
* Drive consistency of practice, systems and operational standards
* Lead school improvement, quality assurance and inspection readiness activity
* Ensure outstanding safeguarding, behaviour and pastoral practice
* Oversee curriculum quality, learner progress and educational outcomes
* Lead and develop senior leaders, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
* Work collaboratively with central support functions to ensure compliance and operational excellence
* Support sustainable growth and strong stakeholder confidence

About You

We are seeking a highly effective and values-driven educational leader who can demonstrate:

* QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
* Significant senior leadership experience within education
* Previous Headteacher, Principal or Executive leadership experience, or a leader ready to step into a wider executive role
* Strong SEND, specialist education or alternative provision expertise
* Proven success in driving improvement and raising standards
* Excellent understanding of Ofsted frameworks and inspection readiness
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership experience
* The ability to lead across multiple teams and sites through influence and accountability
