Events & Marketing Coordinator

ST TALENT are recruiting for an Events & Marketing Coordinator to join a growing Yorkshire business operating within the premium food and lifestyle sector.

This is a hands-on role for someone with genuine events experience who can take responsibility for planning, promoting and delivering events from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be involved in everything from creating the initial marketing assets and promoting events across social media, through to coordinating suppliers, managing bookings and helping ensure the event runs smoothly on the day.

Alongside the events and marketing activity, the role will also involve customer enquiries, order processing, website updates and general administration, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and is happy to get involved across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning, coordinating and delivering seasonal events, exhibitions and promotional activities

* Taking ownership of events from initial planning through to delivery

* Creating event marketing materials, graphics and promotional content using Canva

* Developing and managing social media content to promote upcoming events

* Managing event communications, bookings and customer enquiries

* Liaising with suppliers, contractors, customers and external partners

* Coordinating event logistics and supporting the smooth running of events on the day

* Updating website content and event information

* Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries

* Processing and tracking customer orders

* Maintaining spreadsheets, reports and administrative records

* Providing general support across the day-to-day running of the business

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in events coordination, event management or a similar role

* Experience of planning and delivering events rather than simply providing administrative support

* Strong understanding of event promotion, including social media and digital marketing

* Confident creating marketing and promotional assets using Canva or similar

* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

* Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and external partners

* Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills

* A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership

* Comfortable supporting with general administration and customer service when required

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location
