SETTING: Hybrid / 2 days working from home

XMA are excited to add the position of Events Manager to their growing team.  As the Events Manager you will be responsible for owning all elements of our events and marketing strategy, delivering end-to-end event concepts across multiple business areas. This is the perfect opportunity to shape the events function within the business.

In this role you will work with a calendar of events that will include small seminars/briefings, internal training/kickoffs/social events, participation at third party trade shows, corporate hospitality and webinars.

Job Specification: Events Manager

In this role you will be:

Supporting our Partner Marketing functions as well as the needs of the wider business, with potential to deliver 20-50 events per year
Developing event concepts/themes
Developing visual brand narrative at events, particularly in the design and development of exhibition stands of all sizes
Copywriting for social media, including content generation live during events
Developing and presenting an events calendar based on business objectives and target sectors
Working with all areas of the marketing team including partner management, studio and digital
Managing the budget for each event, accurately planning costs and project requirements
Requirements: Events Manager

We are looking for someone with significant B2B events and marketing experience who is confident in end-to-end planning and delivery. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be working across multiple projects simultaneously, so good organisation and high energy are essential.

This role will require regular travel to events across the UK, sometimes requiring overnight stays.  Manual handling will also be part of the role in transporting/delivering/set-up of event kit.  Your own transport is essential.
