Hours: 42.2 hrs pw (5/7 days pw)

To allow them to achieve this they are wanting to recruit a forward thinking Events Manager to support alongside the Lead Managers in delivering a Hospitality Operation that takes them to new heights.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Lead Hospitality Manager, the ‘Events Manager’ will:
* Build and supervise high performing, well engaged, multi-skilled teams, operating within a high volume and fast paced environment.
* Handle frequent clients requests or changes to client demands.
* Have the the ability to multi-task given the venue boasts a multitude of event spaces that can be in use simultaneously.
* Portray a confidence whilst maintaining quality, consistency and team morale across the site is essential.
* Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment when planning events, supporting events days, instructing suppliers and overseeing the front-line in delivering food and beverages to guests.
* A hands-on operator who does not become fazed and is able to 'think on their feet' as well as strategically.
This primary role of the Events Manager is support and oversee the service delivery of a 365 day calendar which can vary from large to small scale events (e.g. sporting, conferences, intimate dinners etc etc). Lead, coach and develop a large casual staffing workforce, setting expectations and behaviours that can be cascaded down to the temporary workers on event days.
Additionally, the Events Manager is expected to support in managing multi-faceted third-party relationships/partnerships, and deliver robust procedures and controls which increase commercial performance and drive efficiency.
The ability to react quickly to internal and external stakeholder requests is essential whilst ensuring these requests and/or adjustments are clearly communicated to the wider team.
As the Events Manager, you will also maintain control of the departmental expenditure, ensuring all costs are accurately forecasted/recorded as per financial procedures & KPIs.
Skills & Qualifications:
* IT literate, familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
* Comfortable operating cloud based software for event management & staff scheduling (i.e. Priava, HumanForce...)
