Description:

We are looking for a part-time, highly organised Events & Promotions Assistant with exceptional administration and great communication skills to join our vibrant team who stage high profile awards events across the East of England, create promotional opportunities for our readers, and attend outdoor events with our much-loved goody bags.

This fixed-term contract is offering 22.5 hours a week, to be worked over 3 full days, offering a hybrid working pattern where you spend 1 or 2 days a week in our central Norwich office this contract will finish on 31st October 2024. You will be expected to attend our events where required, which are usually in the evening with time off in lieu, its essential you drive and have access to your own car.

This role will see you assisting our event coordinators in the administration and planning of our event schedule, and assisting our promotions executive in sourcing great new promotions for our readers. You will be communicating with businesses, finalists, awards guests, gathering, confirming & requesting information. So calm and confident communication skills are a must.

There will be many things that you get involved in, no two days will be the same but you will be contacting businesses regarding promotional opportunities (Sourcing reader discounts, free tickets, competition wins) or awards event, research tasks, managing calendars, processing invoices, working with our design team creating adverts and booking onto our system, scheduling and writing up social media posts.

YOU WILL HAVE:

* Great organisational/administration skills

* Superb attention to detail

* Communicate very well with internal and external individuals

* Extremely proficient word, excel, outlook and database skills

* Ability to remain calm under pressure

* Experience of a similar front of house role

* Driving licence and use of own car
