Role: EUC Engineer - VMware Horizon View, Citrix and / or Azure Specialist
Location: Hybrid - London (2/3 days)
Salary: Up to £60,000, Bonus, Healthcare
Eligability: Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
The Position
- Support and develop a reliable, resilient infrastructure leveraging VMware Horizon View and Azure to meet current and future business needs.
- Deliver IT Infrastructure Services and Support, ensuring excellent IT experiences for our business.
- Collaborate with IT team members, third parties, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide EUC project support and BAU management across the business, focusing on VMware Horizon View and Azure environments.
- Support Sr Consultant with the delivery of a large EUC project focussed on VMware View & Azure
- Respond to alerts from infrastructure monitoring and security tools, resolving issues promptly.
- Support multi-site environments and associated infrastructure.
- Perform problem management, including root cause analysis and proactive risk identification.
- Contribute to IT roadmap and service improvement plans, particularly focusing on VMware Horizon View and Azure technologies.
- Implement changes following IT change management processes.
- Create and maintain documentation reflecting systems, infrastructure, and processes.
- Assist with project implementations.
Skills Required:
- Experience supporting enterprise environments 1000+ users
- Proven L2 or L3 experience with virtual desktop environment, regardless of vendor
- Demonstrated device management and deployment experience using VMware Horizon View, Intune/SCCM, or similar tooling.
- Advanced knowledge of software packaging, management, browser management, and app locker.
- L3 or L2 experience with Active Directory/GPO management within VMware Horizon View and Azure environments.
- Advanced knowledge and experience supporting virtual desktop infrastucture or VDI
- Desirible experience offering L3 or L2 support for Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune), AD, AAD, Defender, within VMware Horizon View, Citrix or Azure
