Estimator – Refurbishment
Location: Woolwich, London
Salary Range: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare cost estimates for refurbishment projects.
* Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements.
* Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness.
* Assist in developing budgets and cost plans.
* Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions.
* Keep accurate records of estimates and project-related data.
* Work closely with project managers and other team members to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in fit-out or refurbishment projects.
* Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and techniques.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
