Location: Leicester (Covering projects Nationally)

Remuneration: £60,000neg + Discretionary bonus

The role Estimator – Interior Fit Out will involve:

* Hybrid Estimator / Procurement position dealing with a range of commercial shop fitting projects for hospitality, retail and office environments

* May be a requirement to travel nationally to projects to ensure successful ongoing delivery (typically once per week)

* Support project delivery through effective procurement, cost control and supplier management.

* Manage full tender process, from take-offs and pricing through to submission and handover

* Produce accurate estimates using drawings, specifications and supplier/subcontractor quotations

* Source and negotiate materials, services and subcontractor costs to achieve competitive pricing

* Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams

* Working on project sizes varying in size up to £1.5m (typically £80k-£250k)

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Interior Fit Out with:

* Must have Estimating experience within the Shop fitting or fit-out sectors or from a closely related background

* Candidates with a background in Procurement Management, Buying, Commercial Management or related, combined with previous Estimating experience are encouraged to apply

* Highly advantageous to have related manufacturing experience (eg furniture, light steel, joinery etc.)

* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Full UK driving license
