Job Title: Estimator – Façade Systems

Industry Sector: Estimator, Estimating, Rainscreen, Rainscreen Cladding, SFS, Terracotta, Architectural Drawings, Facades, Roofing Systems, Building Envelope, Installers and Contractors

Location: Birmingham Office

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000

Benefits: Standard pension, 4x death in service, 21 days annual leave

The role of the Estimator – Façade Systems will involve:

* Estimator position dealing with high end fabricated rainscreen cladding systems

* Validating contract costs and estimating team workloads

* Receiving tender enquiries and producing general take-offs to create quotations and estimates using an in-house software package

* Establishing relationships with sub-contractors

* Preparation and issuing of formal quotations to customers

* Proactively following up on quotations to convert the sales

* Liaising with Technical, Detailing & Customer Services Teams

* Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met

* Estimating for projects ranging in value from £30,000 up to circa £1,000,000

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Façade Systems with:

* Must have some estimating experience dealing with rainscreen cladding systems or related products

* High levels of attention to detail to produce accurate quotations

* Familiar with Estimating software & ideally CRM systems

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Robust, positive outlook and team player
