The role of the Estimator – Bespoke Joinery will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke commercial & residential joinery projects (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets and surfaces)
* Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
* Working on projects where each product/system is unique and therefore requires a bespoke approach
* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
* Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
* Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
* Managing large projects up-to a value of £750k
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery with:
* Must have experience as an Estimator working within the bespoke joinery sector
* Highly advantageous to have commercial joinery experience
* Strong technical understanding of drawings and client specifications
* Ability to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate cost plans.
* Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
* IT Literate particularly excel
